NAC was once called ROYAL NEPAL AIRLINES CORPORATION in 1958s. From the starting to ongoing total flights of Nepal Airlines, there are almost 30 fatal plane crashes in NEPAL. The main problem or cause of these all crashes may indicates the high mountain rocks and bad weather but the main root of these fatal crashes are lack of investment in aircrafts and technology, no development in ageing aircrafts. common issues that can impact an airline's performance include financial difficulties, operation problems, and safety concern. If the pilots does not follow the rules of Air Traffic Controller then he/she can be charged with curtain actions. The first priority of NAC is to take care of their passengers safety and facilities. There should be a well qualified pilots and Air Traffic Control officers to take off the plane with passenger. another thing the company of the aircraft should have to be aware of all damaged wires engine & fuel of the aircraft. In Nepal the plane crash are mostly seen from Buddha Air aircraft company.
On 2022-05-30, a Tara Aircraft carrying with 22 passengers along with 3 crew members was crashed in Mustang region of Nepal. The plane slammed into the mountains of Mustang region where report are said that due to huge mountains and heavy fog in that region. No one was survived in that aircraft crash. In the latest update there was a fatal plane crash occurred inside Pokhara district on 2023-01-15. The flight was taken off from Kathmandu to Pokhara but only after 15 minutes of flight an unpleasant happened near Pokhara airport. The 9N ANC ATR72 Aircraft of Yeti Airlines crashed with 68 total passengers along with 4 crew members. The CAA of Nepal have said that 69 bodies have recovered from accident 3 are still in search.
